New England USA Rugby Club Looking to Recruit Players for the Upcoming Season
07/12/2011This club is a D2 club side in Providence, RI (New England), they have grown to a strong club on and off the field (made it to the NERFU playoffs, and finished in the top 4). They are directly affiliated with Rugby Imports, as they are located in Providence, and they have been great in getting their "brand" out to the masses. They do not have much in the way of direct financial assistance for players, but do have a very strong community presence, and have resources to help players find housing, employment, education, etc. A work visa(permit) is required in order to work in the USA. The club will also provide assistance in relocation to Providence. They have a fall and spring season; Sept-Nov, and then Mar-May with summer 7's. We have clubs at all levels in many great locations around Australia seeking players who want to enjoy a rugby season down under. Most clubs are seeking interest from players now for the start of the 2011 season begining in early March. Packages will vary depending on your experience and availability. Most clubs can assist with airfares, accommodation and employment.
Players will need to successfully apply for a work permit independantly. Clubs do not wish to get involved in the visa process.
